Jojo's Bizarre Adventure - Ursula and [1998]

URSULA D.G. GREENWOOD - Club Soundland’s premiere DJ and one of the biggest musical acts in NYK. Pioneering the rebirth of the dance music scene at just 16, after years of the city being dominated by rock and jazz, she continues to showcase new DJs and beats of her own to this day.

Stand Name:  「1998」

Abilities: Musical Mastery. 1998 allows the user to share it’s incredible musical ability. Both it and it’s user are capable of playing just about anything.

「D2R/Everybody dance with me!」 The music 1998 and it’s user creates resonates with whoever listens to it on a deep level. Provided the listener has even the slightest interest in the genre of the song made, they will drop everything to listen and dance to it, as if hypnotized by it’s melody.

Self-preservation. 1998 is a defensive stand, and will go to extreme lengths protect it’s user from even the slightest scratch. Something as simple as an easily tripped-over rock will be kicked out of the way by the stand before Ursula even notices it.

Latent Power. 1998′s strength is normally average, due to Ursula’s disinterest in fighting, but should Ursula be extremely enraged (the easiest way to do this is to insult the validity of electronic music), 1998′s fighting prowess will skyrocket in rank and it will attempt to tear it’s target asunder with it’s massive claws.

On the flip-side, 1998′s ability also affects itself, in a way. If it hears a song it likes, even in the middle of combat, it will stop everything to listen to it, essentially rendering it useless.

Outside serving Ursula, it has some semblance of an independent personality. It can often be seen palling around, playing games and watching TV with her, or comforting her when she’s sad. It is incapable of speech but has very expressive body language. It is also a huge goofball and behave in a silly manner around other stand users.
